How time flies....................

Goodness, the season of festivities & good cheer is almost upon us, the sun is shining (amazing.....) the hills have snow, mince pies to be made, shopping to be done, presents to be be wrapped, trees to be decorated & more...... the cottages are busy New Year fully booked - hurrah, we LOVE Christmas !

Brrrrrrrr winter has arrived !

Or is it still autumn ?, the weather has been wonderful for such a long time we have almost forgotten what it feels like to be cold but as we know every cloud has a silver lining & it is lovely to sit by super warm warm woodburning stoves in winter....it is making us think of lovely twinkly, christmasssy things...still a couple of cottages left for Christmas bookings.

It all seems strangely quiet

Now Doune the Rabbit Hole has packed up & gone away, calm has been restored BUT we had a fabulous weekend: great weather, fantastic bands, lots of groovy people, brilliant workshops & activities for people of ALL ages, wonderful food, a bar with cheery, helpful staff - all the ingredients for a cracking festival. We are already looking forward to next year !
